LOGAN — A Logan man was arrested after police say he was found with child sexual abuse materials.
Logan Dixon Durham, 24, was booked into the Cache County Jail for investigation of 10 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and possession of controlled substances.
An initial tip from Snapchat was sent to the Utah Attorney General's Internet Crimes Against Children task force in December 2024 and was assigned to the Logan Police Department in February. Police then executed a search warrant on Durham's apartment, according to a police booking affidavit.
Durham told police he searched for the material online, "downloading the photos and videos he wished to see," the affidavit alleges. Durham also allegedly said he would delete the content from his device after he had sent it to a separate fake account.
Durham said he knew what he was doing was wrong, but "couldn't stop himself from appeasing the temptation," the affidavit states.
