ST. GEORGE — A woman was critically injured after being struck by a car in St. George on Wednesday.

The crash occurred on Riverside Drive near 900 East, which is currently in a construction zone while one side of Riverside Drive is being repaved.

St. George Police Sgt. Joe Watson told St. George News about 7:15 p.m. that a pedestrian and one vehicle were involved.

"Looks like she was trying to cross the road right here for whatever reason," Watson said.
