SPENCER, Idaho — Two Utahns have died following a motorcycle crash in southeastern Idaho.
On July 22, a 69-year-old man from Farr West was driving a motorcycle south on I-15 near Spencer. Just before 11 a.m., he lost control of the bike and crashed, Idaho State Police said in a statement.
A 60-year-old woman, also from Farr West, was a passenger on the bike and died on the scene of the crash. The man driving the bike was transported to a local hospital, but he died from his injuries Sunday, Idaho State Police said Monday.
Police said both occupants were wearing helmets.
A fundraiser* created Monday identified the two victims as Robert and Tamara Shaw. The fundraiser states the couple were "known and loved by many" and the money will go to the Shaw family for medical and funeral expenses.
