SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are investigating a report that three men assaulted another man during an armed home invasion in South Salt Lake late Tuesday.
The trio forced their way through the door of the residence near 100 West and Walton Ave. (3195 South) around 11:30 p.m., according to South Salt Lake Police Sgt. Ryan Cram.
All three intruders were armed with some type of firearm and wore masks.
They assaulted one man inside the residence. He had minor injuries, Cram said.
The intruders also stole a few items, then drove away in a white car similar to a 1990s Ford Taurus.
Detailed descriptions of the intruders were not available, Cram said.
