CHILLSVILLE — Nearly six months ago, we got a glimpse of what Disney is offering us in its live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast” in the first trailer.
We cried, we replayed it, we longed for Spotify to release the score. Or at least, I did.
Finally, after a long, but well-worth-it wait, Disney released another trailer for the film starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens.
The new 2-minute trailer exposes much more about the film than its predecessor. This time, we get to see characters such as Maurice, Gaston, the Beast, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and Chip. Try not to cry too hard when you see Emma Watson twirling in her yellow dress at the Yule Ball — I mean, in the castle.
The film, directed by Bill Condon, will hit theaters March 17, 2017.
