SPRING — We're less than one day away from the vernal equinox, and I hope you're getting excited.

Even though I'm one of the few weirdos out there who actually enjoys winter, this year, I just can't wait for spring. I'm super ready to not have to scrape ice off my windows every day, and instead want to pull out my sandals and start admiring the blossoms on the trees.

While all of us in Utah are getting ready to spend (hopefully) a few weeks enjoying mild temperatures, people across the world are ringing in the nicest time of year with their own celebrations. This video takes a look at what spring looks like in six countries in the northern hemisphere, and if you're not already excited for spring, you will be after you watch it.

Yesterday's Have You Seen This?

From hanging vines of purple wisteria to the origin place of Monet's famous "Water Lilies" paintings, scenery throughout the entire video is beautiful, mesmerizing and will probably fill you with at least a hint of wanderlust. But before you book your plane tickets to see these sites across the world, don't forget that spring in Utah is definitely pretty enough to rival most of these places.

Over the next few weeks as spring arrives in Utah, take a moment to appreciate the beauty and be sure to snap some photos. You can submit your pictures to us using our iWitness tool below, or by clicking here, and we'll feature them in one of our upcoming galleries.

In the meantime, enjoy the video, and comment below with your favorite thing about spring.
