OUT YONDER — Every state has its high points, and Iowa is no different.

In fact, this featured video is shot from the “highest point” in Iowa, according to the video description. That statement may be a little misleading when it comes to Iowa, but I have a feeling everything said in this video is absolutely true.

YouTube user DuckSoss decided to host and post a quick tour of his home state, and there’s a lot to see as far as the eye can see. But don’t worry, his tour takes less than 30 seconds, and every second is quite a sight to see.

It’s not hard to keep up as DuckSoss points out the highlights of his beloved state, and you will certainly see a lot in this video from almost every direction on the compass. (Please note that I said you will see a lot, but I didn’t say a lot of what.)

The tour is so succinct and delightful, that I’m even thinking about booking a trip to the Hawkeye State. Either that, or I’m going to forget that Iowa exists entirely after closing my laptop. Or maybe instead I’ll have the lyrics from “All I Owe Ioway” from the classic musical “State Fair” stuck in my head.

All together now: "Oh I know, all I owe, I owe Ioway, I owe Ioway all I owe and I know why. I am Ioway born and bred, and on Ioway corn I'm fed, not to mention her [corn corn, corn and corn]*!"

Make sure you stick around for the entire video because the end (which I won’t give away) is absolutely the best part. It's always nice to have a sense of humor about yourself.

*Lyrics changed for joke — see the featured video
