HAMILTON FORT, Iron County — A woman killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident on I-15 near Hamilton Fort has been identified.

Utah Highway Patrol's Sgt. Todd Royce identified the victim as Mesquite, Nevada resident Tamara Gross, 49.

The accident, which occurred Tuesday at about 5 p.m. near mile marker 51 on southbound I-15, was a single vehicle incident, police said.

The female driver's Ford Expedition rolled into the northbound lane after the driver started drifting and overcorrected her vehicle. The car rolled twice before coming to a stop on it's side. She was wearing a seatbelt.

Royce said the driver was transported to a nearby medical center in extreme critical condition with critical head trauma and later died.
