MILLCREEK — A 52-year-old man with dementia who was reported as missing has been found uninjured, police say.

Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department reported that Michael James Howard returned to the Deseret Care Center, 950 East 3300 South, Saturday morning after he was reporting missing Friday night around 6 p.m.

Hoyal said Howard has been reported as missing before.

The UPD had been searching the area extensively and had reached out to the public for assistance before Howard returned on his own.
