BOUNTIFUL — Bountiful High School will host Game Night Live Friday at 6:30 p.m. The Braves will host cross-town rival Woods Cross in their homecoming game.

The rivalry between Bountiful (3-2,1-0) and Woods Cross (4-1,1-1) wasn't much of one for many years, but that recently changed. Woods Cross beat Bountiful 14-0 last season ending a losing streak to Bountiful that dated back 23 years.

The Wildcats now hope to continue their resurgence as a program by spoiling homecoming for their rivals while the Braves would love nothing more than to celebrate revenge on homecoming night.

Here are four more games to keep an eye on Friday night:

Alta (2-2, 0-0) at No. 3 Brighton (5-0, 0-0)

This used to be one of the most intense rivalries in Utah, but Alta has won seven of the last eight regular season meetings between the schools. Brighton is hoping to change that and enter the game with a perfect 5-0 record. They also started last year 5-0 when Alta handed them their first loss. The Hawks hope to spoil the party again and claim an important Region 3 win.

Riverton (4-1, 1-1) at No. 2 Pleasant Grove (5-0, 1-0)

Pleasant Grove survived a scare at Lehi on Friday thanks to a crazy fourth quarter rally. They will be tested even more by Riverton and their physical run game.

No. 1 Desert Hills (5-0, 2-0) at No. 4 Pine View (3-2, 1-1)

The race for the 3AA South title continues as Pine View takes their shot at Desert Hills who can take control of the region with a victory. If Desert Hills and Dixie win on Friday it would set up a battle of undefeated teams in region play next Friday.

No. 1 Grantsville (5-0, 1-0) at No. 4 Judge (3-2, 1-0)

Grantsville has the best defense in 3A holding their opponents to just eight points per game. Judge has the second highest scoring offense in 3A. The winner will move to 2-0 in region play.

Five more games to watch this weekend are American Fork at Lone Peak, Mountain Crest at Sky View, Cottonwood at Hunter, Olympus at Orem, and Box Elder at Roy.
