AMERICAN FORK — Police located a 16-year-old girl that went missing Friday morning.
Kelsy Frame, 16, was last seen leaving her home around 10 a.m. Friday. She left the home to ride her ripstick, a skateboard-like device, around the block, but never returned. After more than a day of searching, Frame was later located Saturday afternoon.
American Fork police initially contacted friends to see if they knew where Frame was or if she had indicated that she planned to run away from home.
Sgt. Gregg Ludlow of the American Fork police said based on their conversations with friends, they believed Frame ran away.
"There have been some comments made to friends that lead us to believe that it's possible she might be a runaway," Sgt. Ludlow said.
