WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) - West Valley City police are searching for a woman accused of robbing a smoke shop at gunpoint while accompanied with her young son.

Police said late last week that surveillance video shows a boy between the ages of 10 and 12 handing the Smokes 4 Less clerk a note demanding money and the woman pulling out a handgun.

The woman then ran out of the shop with merchandise as the boy remained at the counter. The boy soon fled after he realized she left.

Police believe the boy was the woman's son because he referred to her as "mom" during the Nov. 10 robbery.

The woman was described as being thin and in her mid to late 20s. She and the boy left in an older model Dodge Durango.
