Alex has an incredible amount of patience and an easy sense of humor. Both help to make his classroom a safe, welcoming place for kids to learn. Mr. Bacall is a very insightful teacher. He understands when his students are struggling with academic or social problems and he adapts his instruction to meet their needs. He has a 4th grade fan club that comes and sees him regularly. He always remembers their names and chats with them about what is going on. He’s a great team player and shares ideas freely. He really cares about kids.
