SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Latest on a debate in the tight House race in Utah (all times local):

8:10 p.m.

U.S. Rep. Mia Love has clashed with her Democratic challenger as she defends her seat in a tight race targeted by national Democrats in a push to regain control of the U.S. House.

Democratic challenger Ben McAdams said at a debate Tuesday that she "votes on autopilot" with President Donald Trump, but Love shot back that she stands up to the president more than other Utah Republicans on issues like immigration.

McAdams also criticized the GOP-backed tax cuts, saying they'll add more than a trillion dollars to the national debt, while Love defended them as good for the economy.

They're in a virtual dead heat in the race for the 4th District, which includes many suburbs of blue-leaning Salt Lake City.

McAdams is the mayor of Salt Lake County. Love became the first black Republican woman in Congress in 2014.

U.S. Rep Mia Love will face off in a debate against Democrat Ben McAdams, a well-known mayor who has put up a strong challenge in a district wary of President Donald Trump that national Democrats are targeting as they look to regain control of the House.

The two will share a stage Monday night after weeks of trading barbs in TV ads and interviews.

McAdams has said his rival has largely been on board with the president and hasn't accomplished enough on issues like Medicaid expansion. Love counters she has stood up to Trump on key issues and portrays McAdams as being out of touch with the district.

McAdams has served as mayor of Salt Lake County in 2012. Love became the first black Republican woman in Congress in 2014.
