OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Authorities have identified two people killed when a pickup truck rolled off a dirt road into a ravine in a crash that also injured five people.
The Standard-Examiner reports that 49-year-old Manuel "Tony" Lopez and 25-year-old Leon Hoang were pronounced dead at the scene in rural Weber County early Saturday morning.
Police say all seven people aboard were thrown from the truck as it careered off a dirt road and rolled multiple times near the unincorporated community of Huntsville.
Deputies have said the victims ranged in age from 16 to 50, and at least two managed to walk to a nearby cabin to call for help. Identities and conditions of the survivors have not been reported.
Police have said alcohol may have been a factor.
