Researchers return to assess areas burned by Pole Creek, Bald Mountain fires
Last summer, the Pole Creek and Bald Mountain fires burned more than 120,000 acres and forced evacuations for nearly 6,000 people. Nearly a year later, wildlife researchers and land management professionals returned to assess the area.
