KEARNS — A man is in serious condition following a motorcycle crash in Kearns Saturday evening.

A Dodge pickup truck hit a motorcyclist at 5415 S. 4220 West just before 8 p.m., according to Unified Fire Authority spokesman Keith Garner. It is unclear what events led to the collision, Garner said.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and was bleeding from his head, Garner said.

Garner said it was "standard just picking him up and taking him in ... he looked pretty banged up from what happened."

The truck driver was not injured. Police did not immediately release additional information about the accident or those involved.
