ENOCH — Two women are in critical condition after a crash in Enoch, authorities say.
Utah Highway Patrol officials first reported the crash just after 3:30 p.m. on Twitter. It took place near the intersection of Midvalley Road and Minersville Highway, also known as state Route 130, and involved a Ford Edge SUV and a semitruck, highway patrol officials said.
UHP is investigating a serious injury crash at the intersection of Midvalley Rd and Minersville Hwy (SR130) in Enoch City. Semi vs a Ford Edge SUV. Two elderly female occupants of the SUV are being flown to area hospitals in critical condition. Details to follow shortly.

The women were in the SUV, which was trying to drive east across state Route 130 on Midvalley Road, UHP officials said. The truck was heading south on state Route 130 and collided with the SUV as it crossed the highway, officials said.
The two women, who are elderly, were flown to hospitals via medical helicopters, officials said. The driver of the semitruck was taken to a hospital in a personal vehicle with injuries that are not life-threatening, officials said.
No other information about the crash was immediately available.
