ST. GEORGE — Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who has been missing since Friday evening.

Russel Hanks, 72, was last seen in the Bloomington area of St. George, police officials said on Facebook. Bloomington is on the southwest side of the city east of I-15.

He was upset about something that happened at his home and told his wife he was leaving to go for a walk, St. George police spokeswoman Tiffany Atkin said. He is not being considered endangered, she said.

It is not unusual for Hanks to go on walks by himself, Atkin added. He does not have any mental illnesses, she said.

Anyone with information about Hanks is asked to call St. George Police at 435-627-4300.
