THE LIVING ROOM — It may be September, but it sure doesn’t feel like fall in Utah right now.

The temperature Monday tied the record for the highest September temperature ever in Salt Lake City, according to the National Weather Service. The heat is expected to continue this week — so why not spend some time indoors watching movies?

Amazon Prime Video is adding a handful of new movies and shows to its lineup, including some original features, according to a news release from the company.

Consider checking out the zany '90s comedy “Mouse Hunt,” in which Nathan Lane and Lee Evans as two brothers whose efforts to restore their late father’s decrepit mansion keep getting thwarted by a crafty mouse. It’s available Sept. 30

The Academy Award-winning animated film “Rango” also will be available on Amazon on Sept. 27.
