THE LIVING ROOM — Most of us remember the first time we had a loose baby tooth. Maybe it was painful for some of you, or maybe it just fell out while you were biting on a piece of candy and didn’t hurt at all.

You know what’s really annoying? When a baby tooth just dangles and hangs on for dear life. Come on, baby tooth! You gotta go!

Some parents get creative when it comes to helping their kid remove a wobbly tooth. But sometimes, it’s the kid who comes up with a fun way of getting rid of a tooth.

This is one of those fun ways.

In this video, we meet Luke, a soccer fan who loves Scottish team Rangers FC. We see little Luke sporting a Rangers jersey and team shorts. A soccer ball is on the living room floor. Tied to that ball is a string, and on the other side of said string is one of Luke’s teeth.

In honor of his beloved Teddy Bears (Rangers’ nickname), Luke is going to kick the ball to help get rid of his first loose tooth.

This is like taking a penalty kick. Gotta focus, stay mentally strong, and show no weakness.

Little Luke pretends that the referee has blown the whistle and pointed to the goal. It’s time!

Luke kicks. Golazo! And by golazo, I mean his tooth is outta there!

After a quick hop, Luke looks at the camera and takes off. I like to think he ran around his house with his arms up in celebration a la professional soccer players Leo Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Here’s to you, Luke! A great new way to get rid of a baby tooth. I’m sure the Rangers and the Scottish Premiership will be waiting for you in the future. Xoel Càrdenas is the Evening Managing Editor at KSL.com. He co-hosts KSL Cafecito, the podcast that talks all things culture.
