THE BOOTH — Food is life.

For some people this means they see food as a tool only for giving life; they eat to live. For others, food is a lifestyle full of exploration and discovery; they live to eat.

For the latter group, sometimes food passion means you feel compelled to overly protect your favorite foods and treats from all your loved ones. This includes but it not limited to your dang grabby kids in general or your dang grabby parents who take “food tax” from the best thing on your plate. And if I may speak personally for a moment, the worst food-stealing offenders are siblings who will be sneaky sneaks that steal all the best food and treats that are rightfully yours, but I digress.

If you are looking for a way to protect your favorite foods, this featured video is dedicated to you.

In the video, a little girl is leaving the table to visit the restroom. However, there are fries she still wants to eat and her mom is still at the table.

Little Girl Keeps A Watchful Eye On Her French Fries

When you're with that mate that always steals your food...😂🍟

This girl’s way of protecting her fries involves a lot of glares, some intense universal signs for “I’m watching you,” some fake leaving of the table to only pop back quickly, and some classic claw-plus-growl “threats.”

The intensity of her actions makes it incredibly clear that these fries are important to her. So important that her fried-tuber passion makes her more adorable and hilarious rather than menacing.

But don’t be fooled by the adorableness, because she actually means it. I know this because she is a direct reflection of this writer when she was little. And gloves will definitely come off if you steal her fries.
