IMAGINARY FRIEND HOTLINE — Daisy Healy of Dublin has a lot to say, and boy howdy is she going to say it.
But the thing about Daisy is she’s actually a publicly timid 3-year-old, according to her father Alan Healy.
“She can be quite a shy person around people she doesn't know and doesn't generally like me taking videos of her,” he told DublinLive in November.
But of course, when she does start to babble, it’s way too cute to not take a few sneaky videos — and now we’re all glad that this proud pop shoots some videos on the sly.
In the clip, it’s hard to know exactly what Daisy is talking about, but she sure is having a good time talking about it. There’s something in there about being very hungry, waving, dad taking photos and going to the park.
But the lack of a clear storyline (which is the purview of toddlers) doesn’t make this any less amazing. The enthusiasm and the hand gestures alone are enough to charm your socks off.
You may be so charmed that you’ll also wish to watch this slightly longer version, which includes the fact that the “person” on the other end of the line apparently will not get off the phone. (It’s also revealed that she was actually “talking” to an imaginary version of her Nana.)
Healy said his daughter was getting so much attention on his Instagram that he decided she should be the star of her own YouTube channel, Crazy Daisy.
