ProPay, Inc. is looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer II to join our team of highly skilled developers in applying solid development techniques and innovation to drive our business forward. We've been in the financial systems business for over 16 years and run on the latest Windows-based technologies, as well as provide mobile solutions on both the Android and iOS platforms. This is a fast-paced environment with short development cycles, so the ability to quickly understand requirements, clarify ambiguous situations and work with the system architect and business analyst to refine designs and break them into individual tasks is a must. As a Software Engineer II, your role would be to implement secure and well-designed solutions across a large C# codebase, help define requirements, mentor junior developers and help make this an amazing place to work. We also care that your skills remain relevant and up to date, and so every developer has access to an MSDN subscription and a Safari subscription to help expand your knowledge and interests.
Relocation costs may be covered.
The ideal candidate must have: - Minimum of 3 years of experience working on software products or services - Minimum of 3 years of experience with C# and the .Net Framework - Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing services within a Service Oriented Architecture - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and source control tools - Good SQL Server skills, including writing stored procedures with T-SQL - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns The excellent candidate will also have (but it's not required): - Java/Android/iOS/MonoTouch experience - WCF experience - Thorough knowledge of PCI DSS and OWASP guidelines. - BS in Computer Science The candidate must live within 50 miles of the 84043 zip code. No relocation package will be offered. Because of the sensitive financial nature of the business, a criminal background check and pre-hire drug screening are both mandatory conditions of employment.
