Fast-paced, multi-national marketing and real estate firm seeks a fulltime Public Affairs - Communications professional to work at its office in American Fork, Utah. Employment is fulltime and will be considered permanent upon satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period. The Public Affairs - Communications professional excels at problem solving, and quickly develops a plan of action to achieve desired objectives. Writes and edits press releases, white papers and other print materials; synthesizes information effectively in his or her writing. Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employee, and public interest groups. Is organized; creates and follows effective task lists; successfully coordinates with internal and external team members; and follows timelines. Works well alone or as part of a team; offers and welcomes constructive criticism. Integrity, honesty, strong work ethic, and creativity are a must.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field (Master's degree a plus); a minimum of two years' of relevant experience; must have hands-on, real world communications experience that includes a blend of advocacy and media relations. You must be a detail oriented, hands-on person who enjoys working in an informal collegial workplace. Ideal applicants will also have a strong track record of positioning an organization to achieve tangible outcomes in a competitive communications environment. Candidates must have extensive experience with Microsoft Office/Windows 7, especially Excel and Word. (A familiarity with PhotoShop, Access, Visio or Fireworks is a plus.)
