Here are just some samples of the fun that awaits.

Park City MuseumA visit to the Park City Museum will help you gain an understanding of what life was like for the miners who helped establish this community while they dug silver ore from underneath it. The museum explains the history of the community from its bars and disasters to the territorial jail.

Restaurants and dining

Whether you’re a picky eater or up for a culinary adventure, you’ll find something to please your palate at one of the many restaurants in Park City. Most restaurants are within walking distance or accessible by a short ride on the free citywide public transportation system.

Shopping

Historic Main Street has been Park City's prime shopping district since the 1800s when merchants began catering to the town's founding miners. Today more than 70 shops offer everything from custom clothing to souvenirs to handmade furnishings.

Galleries and exhibitions

The historic fabric of Old Town is enriched with more than 30 galleries featuring art from local and world-renown photographers, sculptors, painters, and fine artisans. From locally crafted and unique jewelry to bronze masterpieces to the classic paintings of Rembrandt and Picasso, art is Park City’s specialty and a stroll up Main Street provides you with an inspiring array of galleries to spend hours perusing.

Spend the night

With so many activities to choose from, you might not want to go home. That's not a problem because the historic downtown offers a variety of lodging choices. You can choose a luxury hotel, a condo, a quaint bed and breakfast or something more unique like a historic schoolhouse that's been converted to a boutique hotel.

Free parking

If you need further incentive to visit this fall, throughout the month of October, Historic Park City is offering one free parking session on Main Street.

With a thriving business district that boasts more than 250 shops, lodges, restaurants, resort and cultural activities, art galleries and signature events, it's no doubt that Historic Park City is "The Main Attraction."

The Historic Park City Alliance (HPCA) is dedicated to promoting Park City's Main Street and surrounding area as a viable, vital and dynamic place to live, work and play while also encouraging business development and enhancing activities that benefit the district.
