The body of a Utah man was recovered and two other men were rescued after a boating accident in Flaming Gorge Reservoir in which adverse weather was a factor, officials reported.

2. Fire near Evanston likely caused by campfire, officials say

The 65-acre fire did not grow significantly on Saturday and was 45 percent contained by Sunday.

Dozens of people gathered at City Creek Park on Saturday for a vigil hosted by the Utah chapter of Mormon Women for Ethical Government, joining in song and prayer to grieve for the immigrant community and to call for change.

5. Group of city leaders file complaint to stop $58 million SL County tax hike on 'technicality'

A handful of council members from Sandy, Riverton, Herriman, West Jordan and Copperton filed a complaint late Friday night with the Salt Lake County Clerk's Office, alleging the tax hike didn't technically get the support it needed in order for it to be enacted under the county's ordinance.

1. Late spurt leads Utah Warriors into postseason with 31-27 win over Houston

Tonata Lauti has scored eight tries in the inaugural season of Major League Rugby, more than any other player in the league.

Nobody was better than No. 8.

Lauti scored two tries, and the Utah Warriors overcame a 17-12 halftime deficit to rally by the Houston Sabercats 31-27 and clinch the final berth in the Major League Rugby championship series Saturday afternoon at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman.

2. Jazz draft Grayson Allen at No. 21 overall

Utah Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey, though, is a very good talent evaluator. He drafted Donovan Mitchell No. 13 a year ago, selected Rudy Gobert at No. 27 in 2013, and even small wins like Rodney Hood late in the first round in 2014 qualify.

3. Real Salt Lake struggles to finish in disappointing 1-1 home draw with San Jose

Damir Kreilach and San Jose's Danny Hoesen each scored a second-half goal as the Earthquakes split the points with Real Salt Lake, 1-1 Saturday night at Rio Tinto Stadium in the first match of Major League Soccer's World Cup break.

4. Red Stars take 2nd win of season over Utah Royals, 2-0

Katie Naughton and Vanessa DiBernardo each scored a goal in the second half as the Chicago Red Stars took a 2-0 win over Utah Royals FC at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois.

5. BYU players, coaches 'uncomfortable' while seeking to turn around program

Coming off a disappointing 4-9 season and looking ahead to a difficult schedule that includes road trips to such teams as Arizona, Washington, Wisconsin and Utah, BYU coach Kalani Sitake has gotten a little uncomfortable in the offseason.
