TAYLORSVILLE — Two people were seriously injured in a crash on Wednesday afternoon near 4500 S. 500 West, police said.

The crash took place at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Unified police officials said on Twitter. Two people were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Due to the crash, 4500 South was closed at 500 West for several hours, police said. The road closure was affecting drivers exiting I-15 westbound onto 4500 South, UPD said.
