TAYLORSVILLE — More than 4,000 people were affected by a power outage in Taylorsville for about 45 minutes on Sunday morning, according to Rocky Mountain Power.

The outage first was reported at about 7:14 a.m. Sunday, according to the RMP website. At least 4,414 power customers were being affected in zip codes 84129, 84119, 84123.

By 8 a.m., power had been restored for all but six customers, the RMP site said.

A vehicle accident was the cause of the crash, according to the RMP site. The company estimated that power would be restored to all customers by about 10:30 a.m.
