SALT LAKE CITY — Technically there is still more than a month left of autumn, but early signs of winter have started showing across the state.
Just this morning, a few snowflakes were seen sprinkling across Salt Lake City, and the mountains and canyons are starting to look more white than green. This week's gallery includes a few photos of those beautiful mountain scenes, mixed in with photos of Utah's fall skies, sunsets and leaves.
While we're happy to keep looking at the colorful foliage for as long as possible, we're getting pretty excited over here about the upcoming start of winter. If you capture wintery wonderland scenes over the next few weeks, be sure to submit photos to be included in our future user submitted galleries.
