Utah Opera held a competition inspired by NBC's "The Voice." Two dozen vocal performance majors from local universities had a chance to impress a panel of Utah Opera judges.
The following is the list of winners of Ariafest:

Aubrey Odle, Brigham Young University
Mandi Barrus, University of Utah
Alternate: Mary Hoskins, Brigham Young University
Each contestant will receive a coaching session with a principal opera star who will be in Utah for a production this season.
