GRANTSVILLE — A motorcyclist was critically injured Saturday in a crash at 375 S. Center Street.

Officers who were dispatched to the accident at about 6 p.m. found the motorcyclist injured and unconscious, according to Grantsivlle police officer Alison Peterson. No other vehicles were involved, she said.

Peterson said the man was taken to a Salt Lake area hospital via medical helicopter in extremely critical condition. He was not wearing a helmet.

Police were still investigating the crash Saturday night. Peterson said they believe alcohol played a role.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
