NEPHI — Law enforcement officials are asking the public to be on the lookout for a wanted fugitive, they announced Wednesday night.

Juab County Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement in the area of Center Street and the east area of Nephi are looking for Michael Dees, who police say is a wanted fugitive. Residents were asked to stay indoors.

The sheriff’s office told KSL they could not go into details on what Dees is wanted for.

Dees is described as a 5-foot-11 man, 168 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black pants and a gray shirt.

Anyone with information on Dees’ whereabouts is asked to call 911 and give a name and location. Police urge the public not to approach Dees if located.
