TOOELE — Police responded to a car crash involving “multiple patients” with at least one airlifted to a nearby hospital Saturday afternoon.
Tooele Police Sgt. Tanya Kalma said the accident happened just after 3 p.m. near 200 South and Main Street. A pickup truck carrying a horse trailer was traveling northbound on Main Street when a minivan either tried to turn left or cross the road struck the truck, Kalma said.
Police did not have further information on the conditions of the patients.
Traffic at the intersection was stopped briefly but resumed normally as of 4:30 p.m.
