ST. GEORGE — Police in St. George are asking for the public’s help in locating two boys who they believe could be with their father.

Jesus Lopez, 11, and his 9-year-old brother, Angel Lopez, did not show up to school Wednesday morning after their father, Ricardo Flores, was supposed to drop them off, police said.

Jesus is 4 feet 8 inches tall, and Angel is 4 feet 5 inches tall. Both boys are Hispanic with a medium complexion with black hair and brown eyes, according to police.

Police believe Flores, who is recently divorced from the boys' mother, may be on his way to Tijuana, Mexico with the boys in a red 2007 Dodge Caliber with Utah license plate E462AC. The car may be pulling a trailer with a blue tarp over it.

St. George police are working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to locate the boys. Authorities did not issue an Amber Alert because they don't believe the boys are in imminent danger.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the St. George Police Department at 435-627.4300 and reference incident 17P012626.
