MILLCREEK — Police have arrested a man after a stabbing that left two people hospitalized, one in serious condition.

Officers received a call of a stabbing at an apartment complex at 3680 S. Highland Drive, at 1:44 a.m., Saturday, according to Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke. At the same time the call came in, officers at St. Mark's Hospital reported that someone who had been stabbed at the apartment complex had been admitted.

Officers arrived at the apartment complex and began searching the area. There they found a second person who had been stabbed, who was taken to an area hospital

While clearing the site, Lohrke said that one officer came across an open door and “saw a man in a room with a knife talking to people about how he had just been in a fight and stabbed some people.”

Officers arrested the man, Claudio Trujillo, 23, for investigation of aggravated assault.

Police have not released any information about the identity of the victims, including their names, ages and genders, but Lohrke said one is in “fair condition,” and another is in “serious condition.”

This story will be updated with any further information.
