SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake Comic Con announced its latest guest addition Wednesday and leaked two more as next month's FanX event approaches.

Jason Momoa, who will debut as Aquaman in the upcoming "Justice League" and "Aquaman" movies, joined the celebrity lineup Wednesday. Momoa also plays the warlord Khal Drogo on "Game of Thrones."

Salt Lake Comic Con co-founder Bryan Brandenburg called Momoa the kind of celebrity that fans like interacting with: a strong actor able to play serious or nefarious characters, but who in real life is a friendly family man.

"The guy's just got such magnetism," Brandenburg said. "He's got that going for him, and then on the other hand, he's a super family man, posting pictures of his family all the time."

FanX, which has been condensed to two days in an effort to offer a more affordable alternative to previous three-day events, will return to the Salt Palace Convention Center on March 17-18.

In contrast to Momoa's DC Comics character, the FanX guest lineup is led by Marvel mastermind Stan Lee.

While some guests for Salt Lake Comic Con guests are closely guarded secrets until they are announced, others are gleefully hinted at or leaked.

Brandenburg also hinted at the upcoming guest announcement of Jennifer Hale, the prolific voice actor known for video games including "Mass Effect 3" and movies such as "Wreck-it Ralph." In 2013, the Guinness Book of World Records named Hale the most prolific female video game voice actor.

Teases also began appearing online Thursday for actor and comedian Verne Troyer, known for his role as "Mini-Me," the sidekick to the character Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers movies, as well the goblin Griphook in the Harry Potter films. The announcement is expected by the end of the week.

Final celebrity guests will be announced leading up the event next month.

Other confirmed guests include James Roday and Dule Hill of the quirky crime drama "Psych"; Sam J. Jones, of "Flash Gordon"; actors Cary Elwes, Wallace Shawn and Chris Sarandon, of "The Princess Bride"; John Rhys-Davies, who portrayed Gimli in the Lord of the Rings films; Judge Reinhold, "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"; Adrian Paul, "Highlander"; Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt and Khary Payton, "The Walking Dead"; voice actor Jess Harnell; and musician "Weird Al" Yankovic.
