SALT LAKE CITY — Snowy conditions forced more school delays and cancellations Tuesday in northern Utah.

The Weber School District canceled school in the Ogden Valley. That affects schools in the Eden, Huntsville and Liberty areas, but not the Ogden School District.

Those small towns saw more than 17 inches of snow fall between Sunday and Monday alone. Heavy snow is preventing buses from making their normal routes.

That means students at Valley Elementary and Snowcrest Junior High do not have school Tuesday. High school students in Ogden Valley are also excused but may attend if parents choose.

All other Weber District schools will be in session.

All Ogden School District schools will delay start by one hour.

DaVinci Academy in Ogden will delay its start time by two hours. St Joseph’s Catholic and elementary schools in Ogden will be on a two-hour delay.

The Box Elder School District will delay start times by two hours. Buses will also run about two hours later than usual.

In the Morgan County School District, classes for Morgan Middle School and Morgan High School will begin at 9:20 a.m.

Park City schools are open; however, parents should be prepared for possible bus delays due to wintry driving conditions.

The Tintic School District in Eureka will be on a one hour 30 minute delay due to road and weather conditions.
