THE DISNEY VAULT — Disney's first animated feature, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was released in 1937, and the film studio has never looked back. They have made numerous animated features since, and with 2017 on the horizon they don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
This video takes a look at all of the Disney animated features from their first in 1937 to "Zootopia" in 2016. They missed "Moana," but I'm guessing they wrapped up the video before "Moana" was released.
Either way, it's fascinating to see how far the animation process has come since pre-World War II, all the way to 16 years after the new millennium. It was a marvel what animators did in 1937, and it seems like science fiction what they can do with computers today.
The video will drum up a fair amount of nostalgia and also remind you of some films you've probably forgotten all about.
