SALT LAKE CITY — The Unified Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating at least four women in connection to a fraud ring, officials said.

The women have been to five Wal-Mart stores in Utah and attempted to purchase prepaid credit cards using fraudulent funds or stolen credit cards, according to the Unified Police Department.

The women may be from Michigan and are potentially traveling around the United States, UPD said. They normally target multiple Wal-Mart locations on the same day.

The Unified Police Department encourages those who have information about these women to call the police department at 801-743-7000.
