FRANKFURT, Germany — Mormon Tabernacle Choir organist Richard Elliott has met world-renowned musicians all over the world, but none with a story as unique as the Pianist of the Rubble.

In 2015 Syrian Islamists banned music, but Aeham Ahmad refused to stop playing even when they burned his instrument before his eyes.

"I think we both agree that music is not something that man invented. Music is something that came from God," explained Elliott.
