ROBERTS, Idaho — A 21-year-old Idaho Falls man was killed in an accident involving a tractor and semitruck Wednesday afternoon, EastIdahoNews.com reported.

Idaho State Police confirm McNeil Walker was driving a tractor on Interstate 15 at milepost 140 north of Roberts when a semitruck, being driven by William Gago, 23, of Worth, Florida, hit the tractor.

After the vehicles made contact, police say they rolled, coming to rest in the median. Walker died at the scene. Gago was not transported to the hospital.

Police say Walker was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Friends tell EastIdahoNews.com Walker had recently returned from Mexico after serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was raised in Idaho Falls and had attended Brigham Young University-Idaho.
