WEST BOUNTIFUL — A man accused of hosting a party for four teenagers on Halloween, getting them drunk and then raping a 17-year-old girl, is scheduled to make an appearance in court on Wednesday.

Justin Dee Robinson, 40, of West Bountiful, is charged in 2nd District Court with two counts of rape, three counts of forcible sodomy and three counts of object rape, all first-degree felonies. He was also charged with two counts of forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony; four counts of furnishing alcohol for minors, a class A misdemeanor; and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class B misdemeanor.

Charges
  • Rape (2 counts)
  • Object rape (3 counts)
  • Forcible sodomy (3 counts)
  • Forcible sexual abuse (2 counts)
  • Furnishing alcohol for minors (4 counts)
  • Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (4 counts)

On Oct. 31, a boy and three girls, all teens, went to Robinson's house, 1215 Jessis Meadow Way. He made drinks for the teens and they became intoxicated, according to charging documents.

According to a search warrant affidavit unsealed Monday, the 17-year-old girl "had several drinks including Jagermeister, Fireball and Bud Light and became very intoxicated and passed out. She said she woke up on the floor in the bathroom."

Robinson assaulted the girl on the bathroom floor before taking her to his bed and continuing the violent sexual assault, despite the girl's requests to stop, according to the warrant. At one point, Robinson allegedly pushed the girl up against a wall.

"The victim told the defendant 'no' and begged him to stop. She described the assaults as very rough and painful," charging documents state.

After the assault, Robinson positioned himself outside the bedroom door so the girl could not leave, according to the affidavit. One of the other teens who had woken up and was looking for his cellphone saw part of the attack and sneaked the girl out a back door when Robinson wasn't looking, the warrant states.

The teens ran to a nearby house for help. Doctors who later examined the girl found obvious signs of trauma, according to the warrant.

West Bountiful Police Chief Todd Hixson said after Robinson's arrest that detectives were investigating whether there were other victims.

Police serving the search warrant seized sheets, towels, empty and half-emptied bottles of alcohol, clothing and several pairs of underwear.
