SALT LAKE CITY — Would you be able to recognize your mom using only your senses of touch and smell?

Six small children were put to the test in a new commercial that will leave you sobbing your eyes out while simultaneously reaching for the phone to call the woman who gave you life. The new Pandora jewelry ad titled “The Unique Connection” begins with six mothers lining up side by side while their kids are blindfolded.

We watch as a happy little girl with bouncing curls is led to the line of mothers. She reaches up to grab the face of one woman, nuzzles her nose and quickly shakes her head before moving on in her quest. Meanwhile, her own mother watches on with tears streaming down her face — at this point, she’s not alone in her weeping.

Finally, the little girl arrives in front of her mom, runs her hands through her mother’s curls and giggles contiguously as she nuzzles the nose of the woman she knows is her own.

Cue the major waterworks.

One by one, each of the six children navigates the line of women without the ability to see. Patting heads and bellies, tracing faces and interlocking fingers until inevitably, they find their person.

Some of the kids don’t even take their blindfolds off before tackling their mothers with a triumphant hug and kiss. If you had any doubts about the unique bond between mother and child, here’s proof of its existence.

There’s a chance you’ve already watched this special Mother’s Day commercial — it’s been viewed more than 8 million times on YouTube since it was posted a week ago — but admit it, you have no problem watching it just one more time.
