Nomination letter sent in by Kathleen Stone:

Bruce goes above and beyond his duties as the manager at the Smith's marketplace on 7800. All customers young and old are guaranteed a wonderful ice cream sundae accompanied by Bruce playing happy birthday on his trumpet! All you have to say to Bruce's that it's your birthday and he immediately goes to work finding store workers who are willing to sing happy birthday. He's not happy until he has at least 4, 5 or more to accompany him. If there's a product that they don't have he goes out of his way to find it for you. He makes of his goal to lift up the sad and the weary and is much more than just a store manager. Bruce makes the store more than just your neighborhood market, he makes it a neighborhood!

Shopping there is a pleasure and rarely do you hear any children crying because they also enjoy shopping there! Bruce give so much of himself to his customers (which he refers to as his friends and neighbors) and expects nothing in return. Rarely does a day go by that you do not see Bruce somewhere in the store making customers happy with his infectious smile and positive attitude! Bruce definitely deserves at least a high-five if not more!
