CULVER CITY, Calif. — After struggling in its initial two seasons in the Pac-12, members of the media picked Utah to finish second to last in the South Division, the conference announced Friday.
The Utes are coming off a 5-7 season in which they missed making a bowl game for the first time since 2002.

Oregon is the preseason favorite to not only win the north division, but the conference overall. The Ducks received 14 of the 25 first-place votes in the poll, edging out Stanford who finished with 11.
There was a lot more uncertainty in the favorite to win the South, as UCLA finished with 12 votes, Arizona State had 10 and USC picked up the remaining four.
