SALT LAKE CITY — The end of June is not a hot time for college basketball, unless it is players heading to the NBA.

This month was different for Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak — he isn't going anywhere.

"I did the math," Krystkowiak said, "I've never been in one house for more than two years, I just broke our record."

As a player in the NBA, he was with the Spurs, Bucks, Jazz, Magic, Bulls, Levallois (France), Lakers and Idaho Stampede.

Since he has gone the route of the coach, he has been with Montana (assistant), Old Dominion (assistant), Idaho Stampede, Montana, Bucks (assistant), Bucks (Head Coach), USA U18 men's national team, Nets (assistant) and now Utah.

"We really started setting up shop," said Krystkowiak

27 years has brought so many moves and different homes for the Utes head coach that finally the Krystkowiak family can really unpack. "It feels really good to be settled in, everything just feels more relaxed."

A grateful Larry Krystkowiak finished by saying, "We're in one spot and really excited. The kids are excited, my wife is excited; it just feels like an opportunity that presented itself that turned out to be one of the best things that happened for us."
