CLEARFIELD — A semitruck carrying two pickup trucks tipped over after a crash on I-15 Northbound, which blocked multiple lanes for more than an hour and created major traffic backups Friday afternoon, police said.
Utah Highway Patrol trooper Lawrence Hopper said at about 2:50 p.m. a woman was changing lanes on the highway and hit a semitruck hauling two pickup trucks.
The semitruck lost the pickup trucks and they tipped over, blocking three lanes of traffic at about 650 North.
No injuries were reported in the crash, Hopper said.
The three lanes remained closed for about 40 minutes before one of the lanes reopened, as did the onramp to I-15 North at 700 South.
All lanes of traffic reopened at about 4:40 p.m., according to the Utah Department of Transportation.
