LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Chris Smith scored 17 points and Lew Evans added 15 with a career-high 14 rebounds and Utah State cruised to an 81-55 win over Utah Valley on Tuesday night.

The Aggies shot 55 percent (30 of 55) and made 15 of 19 free throws. Thanks to Evans, they also had a 46-25 rebounding advantage and a 39-19 difference in bench points. Jalen Moore added 11 points.

Konner Frey led the Wolverines (2-3), who shot 34 percent, with 14 points. They also struggled from the line, going 12 of 21 and made five of 20 3-pointers.

The Aggies led 44-31 at halftime and used a 9-0 to push to a comfortable 61-35 lead with 10:57 left as the Wolverines shot just 26 percent, including 2 of 11 behind the arc to fall to 0-11 in the in-state series.
