Juan Diego’s Jason Ricketts was unstoppable in Friday night’s 57-40 win over Orem High in the 4A state semifinals. Ricketts was a load inside and Orem did not have any answer for him.

After a highly contested game through the first 30 or so minutes, Salem Hills struck late and defeated the Sky View Bobcats 70-60 in the 4A semifinals.

The Olympus Titans are title game bound after demolishing the Bountiful Braves, 79-43. This is Olympus' fourth consecutive championship game appearance after losing last year, but winning the title in 2016.

The University of Idaho signee could not be stopped in the 60-40 victory over Logan Friday afternoon. The senior forward dominated on both ends of the court, adding to her game high 36 points she also picked up 14 rebounds and 3 assists.

Copper Hills used a constant and steady attack to beat the Fremont Silver Wolves 65-53 on Thursday night. Copper Hills was efficient on both offense and defense in the win over Fremont. It shot 66 percent from the field and 50 percent from three.

Amber Kartchner scored 18 of her game-high 27 points in the fourth quarter to rally the Grizzlies to a 62-45 win over Spanish Fork in a Class 4A state quarterfinal Thursday at Utah Valley University.
